What a great spot to come to with your kids! My 3 and 5 year old loved the balloon hats they got, food and entertainment. They even had chicken fingers and fries for the picky one!! Hibachi was yummy- did steak and chicken. Also had tuna tartare and a spicy tuna special roll and was happy at how fresh and good the sushi was!! The people that work there are amazing and cater to a family crowd. This was our first time going and we will certainly be back. There was also live music there on a Friday night. It wasn't too loud and was perfect for the background. Def give it a go!
Stopped in for Happy Hour, you cannot beat this deal! We had a very nice sashimi platter for $21, and a delish salmon roll for $9. Bar was nice, service was good. Fish was very good, selection was limited but they offer Omakase by reservation with more selection. Picture is of baked oyster app., was really good. We'll be back.
I went to The Angle last week for my first time ever around 7pm and really enjoyed myself. I actually came for an open mic night thrown by a local Long Island Poetry group called Poem Stars. While there, I ordered from the happy hour menu, which went till 730pm. I enjoyed some delicious salmon sashimi and scallion pancakes. The sushi tasted super fresh and the scallion pancakes... gosh darn it, were literally the best I've ever had! They were light, crispy, oh so flavorful and yet far from oily. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming, while the sushi Chef was efficient, focused and clearly in the zone. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu.
I came to The Angle because I read previous reviews about great experiences with children. I am a mother of two toddlers and I can only dine at kid friendly restaurants. We had the Hibachi Deluxe and the Shrimp and scallops deluxe. The amount of food is a great portion where you would wind up taking a doggy bag. We checked in and we got a free cocktail. The cook was funny and made animal balloons for my two children. We will definitely go back. Thank you
So many great things to say I don't know where to start! I took my daughter and a couple of her friends here for her birthday and they really made it a special night! Our chef was funny and personable and put on a great show! Since we were celebrating, we each got a balloon headband and a special happy birthday song, complete with a visit from their bear and a bowl of ice cream. The food was delicious and plentiful! I was already impressed with the food, service and ambiance, but when the bill came I was further impressed by the price! I cannot believe the amazing value this was, and I cannot wait to return!
Came here for hibachi, it was my first time going so I have no context but this was SO FUN! We showed up 30 minutes before closing and they were so nice, happy to seat us and did a full hibachi for just us 2. There was live music, the hibachi chef was hilarious, they brought out a free desert for my birthday, everything was so fast and the food was great. We got the chicken, filet, shrimp and lobster and loved all of it- huge portion, great time, highly recommend!
What a fun experience for a place within 10 minutes driving distance from home. I made a reservation when i arrived my party was sat with a birthday celebration. The cook shared some laughs. Lots of saki, and cooked up a storm! I asked for my veggies to be cooked extra and he happily obliged. The portions were epic and cmon it's Hibachi. You have fun, you laugh, you drink copious amounts of sake but most of all you share the experience. The wait staff was very attentive the food was well prepared and the ingredients tasted fresh! For a night out or a fun celebration I give it 5/5 stars! PS check in on Yelp for a free drink!
We went to the Angle on New Years Eve, which is always a crazy night. After a little sitting issue, which was handled very nicely, we were seated. Our cook was very accommodating and very nice to the young children, making balloons to make them happy as well as putting on a littke show. The food was very good and the portions were a nice size. We will definitely be returning.
What a nice evening! Food was very good and tasty. I had cocktail and was very good too! Chef is really good entertainer! Very funny and cool. Definitely will come back again. Prices are very good too and service very good also. Very happy we go this restaurant in Oceanside!
